Hi guys, Finally going to get down to this but I need a lot of advice as Scott gave me specific timings for my AMpro to do 1080p.

I have setup the Ampro to do 1080p but I want to see if I can save some bandwidth and optimise my picture and run it at 1080i,96 and 800i 96 and 817i 96 the 4600 has 100 Mhz of bandwidth.

These are my pj details.

H scan is 15kHZ - 105 kHZ
Vertical is 40 - 150 Hz
bandwidth is 100 MHz
retrace Horizontal 2.8
Vertical 400

I have attached my current timings for all too see, Scott set these up for me as I did not understand what all the timings mean.

Nvdia control panel gives me these settings

Display mode as reported by windows

Horizontal Pixels 1920 vertical Lines 1080
refresh rate 60 colour depth 32
scan type progressive

TIMING

Horizontal
active pixels 1920
front porch 80
sync width 164
total pixels 2408
polarity +
refresh 67.5 Khz

Vertical
active pixels 1080
front porch 4
sync width 5
total pixels 1125
polarity +
60 Hz

pixel clock 162.5400MHz

I want to try and run the pj at 1080i for 1.78 1.85 ratios at 96Hz to lower bandwidth needs and then try 817 and 800 for 2.35 2.40 aspect ratios, I really don’t mind setting them all up on different channels. This will all be set up using Nvidia control Panel.

Many thanks for any help, I will also be using Mikes Aspect ratio program once I set this up.
