I bought a blue LUG tube.
I noticed that it have a band (I can not find the right definition in English) very strange.
I would like to change it because I do not trust its effectiveness. Where can I find?

that`s just a copper strip i suppose, same as the copper adhesive tape found on most tubes but with more copper by the looks of it.

Thank you dvh99
Could be this the right product?
If yes, where I can found it in Europe?

Isn't this lead-tape, which is there to stop x-ray emissions? My BG1209s housings have gray lead-tape around them.

no lead, it`s to prevent static build up.

All my Barco tubes have comb type ground strip installed to tubes hardware, that will do the job. Just make sure it contacts that conducting paint over tubes bell.

as others have said it's just there to dissipate the static charge from the tube bell so it doesn't arc over to the coils and amplifiers. You will see tape, metal combs, and even coils springs wrapped around the tube( on NEC's I think)?
Doesn't really have to do a lot, just discharge static to chassis or tube housing
