Home from golfing trip to find a Runco DTV -947 sitting under my carport. Friend told me 7 months ago he had one of these sitting in his conference room at work and offered it to me. I said sure but I am not going to take it down. So now it is here. I know it is a Barco7x series. But it was built in 2000. Has an IRIS cam and has HD-145 Lenses. I thought the 7x series was not produced past 98. I know the 8x back then was peaking. Which is my cunfusion and scratchin my head. Info anyone? Could Runco have just stored it somwhere and tagged the unit when it sold?

Yep, Runco had a lot of these kicking around apparently, so their 'build date' (month that the black paint dried) ended up being a lot later than when barco made them. I've seen the same with their NEC PG Xtra based chassis.

Think yours is bad, my 708 has a June 2002 build date. It's a Barco not a Runco AND it has Cine 7 electronics in it. 5 BNC for RGBHV,plus one BNC for Video and S-Vid connector. To top it off it has a part number of 9002316, whic I can't find referenced anywhere.

I think yours was in a TV chop shop and prior to that, Barco had it in mothballs until it sold. How do you know you cine 8 parts?

The part number on the video input board is the same used in the Cine 7, several other parts also carry the Cine7 numbers. The software has several Cine 7 features.
