Here's my thoughts.

Gino is a great CRT guy and challenger to the throne of king of the CRT heap.

Yet, not one photo of this setup. The guy has matching 9500lc's w/ a blendzilla AND a kickarse modded hddvd drive. YET no photos, no screenshots, nada.

I say we give him 30 days to come across or face banishment from the bosom of crtdom! Shocked Shocked

Its tough love but somebody had to say it! Very Happy

My envy is no secret. Friendly envy that is.

I think envy is like greed.

We all know about greed .....dont we? Very Happy

I use to be greedy when I was a kid. Made for a lonely childhood. Good thing I was an introvert. I never did like the other kids playing with my toys.

Now I don't mind. I'm not greedy, I spend wisely and invite friends over to play with my toys. In the case of my Sony I lent it out for 3 months to a friend cause his digital blew up.

MAN! I am one fine humanitarian. Wink

P.S. Don't ban Gino, he's a nice guy even if he does make holes in your mouth with power tools for a living lol. I like living vicariously through him ( for the blendzilla not the drilla Wink)

Nah, remember the gospel according to St. Gordon.....

The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA. Thank you very much.

Amen, brother...amen Very Happy

I say let him stay. After all...anybody who can look into some of the worlds nastiest gack infested mouths...and smell their putrid breath while trying to put them back together again...deserves 100 'Zillas!

We need a green emoticon to show how nauseated I just made myself.

The only teeth I've lost is from eating Rolaids...yup. Rolaids. Always had heartburn my whole life and it would wake me up at night. I'd eat a handful and go back to sleep. NOWHERE on the label does it tell you they are comprised of something like 80% sugar and to brush well after consuming.

The pics of his blend on the A site are old tho....we DO need fresher ones Gino if we're going to loathe your appropriately. Laughing

Greg

I realize your poll is somewhat tongue-in-cheek (no, that is not a veiled dentist joke) but I voted to keep him.

First of all, screen shots are TOTALLY dependent on your photography skills - I've no doubt ZPhoto could take a picture of the crappiest image and make it look like eye candy - and vice versa - turn a beautiful screen shot into garbage.

Second of all - I'm already a little over my head financial-wise in what I've got invested in my HT and don't need ANY further enticement to spend more. Ignorance is bliss, comes to mind!!

My 2 cents

This is very far from being true. I have no photography skills at all, but yet, I've been doing quite well with screenshots.

If you think a person with excellent photography skills can take a photo of a poor image and make it look good, I would surely like to see that screenshot.

Me, I simply place the camera on the tri-pod, and then turn off the flash, set the timer and point and shoot - it's that simple!

Clarence came by today and saw the Marquee 8500 that I've been getting my screenshots from...

Ask him would I need special skills to capture what he saw..Wink

one more thought... as long as we have Gino as an example of unbridled excess we can justify damn near anything we buy !!!
" but honey we need those Mike Parker MODS!!... its not like we have a twin marquee blendzilla, like some of those guys on the forum...."

keep him, hell we should hire him a bodyguard!!

I voted to keep him. I think if we banned him we would have to take a serious look at the MIDWEST BLENDZILLER with 2 G90's. This might be avoidable if he has to send the blender back to Tim but...........2 G90's...You suck.

I'm less interested in screenshots, more interested in pics of his setup and toys.

My ban button's all warmed up and ready to go... Smile

My apologies about the lack of screenshots and photos of other gear...

I have the Canon EOS 5D now, so I'm armed and ready. Well almost, I was supposed to have the new 13ft 2.40 screen up last weekend, but my mates truck broke down and it just never happened, so instead enjoyed Gears of War on 121" instead. But I've got Friday off, and my mate will be over to help me put up the new screen. So should have the blend back up and running on Saturday and will have photos then.
