Hello!

I have broken Projector Electrohome marquee 8110(was user for about 50hours, then were sotered for 3 years). I dont have skills to fix it myself. I contacted several local(Moscow, Russia) companies that work with projectors, but they said they wont fix any Electrohome equipment. Could you help me with finding a way to fix it or to sell it?

Hello and wellcome to the forum!

First, what are the symptoms? Are there any error light on at the back panel after firing up?
There are a lot of ic-s in sockets in the marquees, which generates a lot of contact problems by age, so you should take a look at all boards first and push every ic in their socket.

After I turned it on there were repeating snapping sounds(like some switch is turning on/off) and some kind of flashes inside, I turned it off after 5-6 sounds. I tried to turn it on next day with same result. I dont have any experience in assembly or disassembly CRT projectors, only assembly PCs, so I dont know what it means and I am afraid to make things worse then they are right now. Is it safe to disassemble CRT projector? And what does "ic-s" mean?

It sounds like you have a High Voltage issue. By your description it will be an easy to repair problem.
First falimiliarize yourself with the marqee chassis and read these:

The machine is totally harmless if it is unplugged from the mains while you are working inside.
Remove the top cover, power up the machine and try to localize where is the snapping and the lights are coming from (either from one of the tubes or right from the HV splitter), if we know wher is the problem then we'll know where to move on.

Ok, I see. I think its too heavy for me to move it alone, need to call a friend and we will move projector to a working room. Ill write as soon as I localize the sparks.

Keep in mind that each time you hear a SNAP, you stand a chance of damaging other boards in the set.

What I would do is unplug the 3 HV leads going from the tubes to the HV splitter. (see link above to the layout of the MArquee).

Turn the set on with the 3 HV leads disconnected. DO NOT disconnect the lead to the HV splitter that comes from the HV power supply.

If you still get the snapping (I'll bet you won't!), then you should be able to see where the problem is (bad HV splitter probably).

If you get no snapping, then turn the set off and plug in 1 of the HV leads going to the tubes. Turn the set on again. If it snaps, that HV lead is bad, and needs to be replaced. If no snapping, then connect a second HV lead.

The most likely problem is that one of the HV leads is bad. I've got those at $25 per lead incl shipping.

And make ABSOLUTELY sure you turn off and unplug the projector EVERY time you put your hands in there to try something else!!!!!!!!!
