Okay... I have this bang & Olufsen beomaster 6500 receiver, and the Master Control Panel 6500... Luckily I have managed to navigate my way through the complex procedures on the remote... it is not like using a normal receiver thats for sure...

The issue I am having, and if anyone has the user manual for the remote would be helpful) is that I cannot get radio to come in as anything more than static... however, when I press the arrows by the GOTO button on the remote and press play at the same time, I can hear the receiver go through the radio stations as if someone whipped the tuning knob all the way on an old receiver. When it stops tuning it just goes back to static...

I am posting this here because over at beoworld and beocentral they have absolutely nothing, same for the manufacturers website. Hopefully someone here knows how to use one? Because I sure as hell dont...

Why couldnt they just make it easy to tune? Confused

1) Tune in to a station :
Press "RADIO" + "GOTO" + "<" or ">" to find the station
alternatively, if you know the frequency of the station (eg 102,3)
Hit "RADIO" + "GOTO" +"1" + "0" + "2" + "3"

2) Store to a preset :
"PRESET" and the first vacant preset number will blink, then "STORE"
But you can overrule this "suggested" preset number by pressing
"PRESET" + "X" or "X" + "X" to store the station to preset number of your choice and "STORE"

PS: Get a Silver or Gold membership and download the user manual ...

You are the man nash! I spent all day friday searching that website for what you found.

I am able to change the stations, and the remote shows the station I tune to, but all I hear is static... If I let it do the search where it browses through the whole FM frequency range, I can hear the stations....

I Just cannot get it to pick up a station, hence, I have given up! I wont be using the receiver for FM anyway, but since that is one of the main features of the receiver I wanted to test it...

Not a big deal, I just needed something for my bedroom, and this will do nicely once it is connected to the PC and TV.

Thanks again though Nash!! Smile
