I have a NEC XG-110LC, and was thinking about the NEC Full HD card (apparently missed the sale), but saw the external 1.4 HDMI box, now I'm not sure which way to go. Is 1.4 even relevant? Confused
Thinking I can use the box like I did w/ my HDFury I (that I lost in a house fire) and have the added advantage of using it on a Barco BG801s if needed.
One primary question is if the cards work like the HDFury did for HD content from my Blu-Ray.
Or should I look at the new HDFury 4 that I just saw on the HD website.

Either of the ways, I have to get something to get the signal to the pj. Any advice is welcome.

Thanks,
Van

Just a warning on the NEC you need either a Scaler or an HTPC with configurable sync timings to get 1080p. 1080i will be ok but you might see scanlines.

Thanks to both of you. Not sure how much the 801 can handle, but 720P/1080i pretty likely.

Mike - interesting observation, curious where I can find more info, as I was going to go directly to it from my BluRay, like I did with my BD808. I'll try a search to see what I can find.
