Nashou66,

I have the VF01-Mux setup with my DVI Barco using the VF-01DVI_RGB colorspace. Is it possible to force either PC/Video(0-255/16-235) output levels for this setup?

Thanks

It might be. There is a BYPASS mode. Hit the "Mode" button to turn on the BYPASS mode. I don't have this so I can not say if it works.

There is also the DVI RGB color space the "D" button. There is a link to the data sheet on the top of the first post in this thread.

He added many options with this version.

I still want to buy one but saving up for Subwoofers.

Sorry, I thought you had this newer version, I will contact Moome. Currently the "D" button works best for me.

Thanks

I sent him an E-mail as well. I know on his internal cards he added a whiter than white and blacker than black option.

Not sure on the VF-01

I emailed Moome also and he indicated the VF01 will pass through the source level presented. By the way, I really like how clean the signal appears on my various inputs with this box-I am well pleased today (not bad for an HT addict)

This product sounds great. Has anyone tried to use it with Windows Media Center? I've been running into an issue where WMC will not display liveTV on two monitors at the same time (I am in the US using a cablecard) and I'm wondering if this product (or the monoprice one linked) might solve that.

Thanks!

After testing several of these units I have come to the conclusion that they don't support HDMI audio in the following cases:
- PCM 5.1 (only stereo channels are audible)
- DTS Master-Audio, Dolby True HD (no signal)
The lossy cores of DTS Master-Audio and Dolby True-HD and regular Dolby Digital and DTS are working as expected.
If anyone managed to get the two cases mentioned working I'd appreciate to know how they did it.

What model PCB do the units have that you were testing?
From what I hear, only version 0.3 (VH01) should support those.

I found the reason it was not working. The device has a default that prevented it. Once I pushed '9' on the remote TOSLink limitations were turned off. Happy end after all. Smile

I've been using an MUX-HD that I bought here for more than 3 years. Have had flawless and consistent service from the unit until last week. Looks like the heat finally did it in, even though I have tried to keep the unit cool by providing good air flow around it. It's like losing your pet dog, you didn't understand the relationship until it was gone.... I'll be checking back, I for sure want one and want it ASAP.

Miha, what's the status of your "AU-In" LED at the front when it works for you? I assume it is off.
