... a power adapter for my DVDO iScan HD video processor, I have been able to use it with my XG but since the adapter I have does not have the exact specifications required for the video processor, the video processor does not operate completely as it should (it doesn't stay on for very long).
There isn't one on the bay, so I figured someone here would know what to do??

Yes, have you called DVDO? Should be pretty cheap from them...

I was thinking about that, I will go ahead and do that, how much do you think one will cost? I got the processor for next to nothing so either way its still cheap.
I tested it out first on an LCD monitor with the NES, pretty damn neat!! I cannot believe I didn't get one of these sooner!

my vp30 came with a way to low rated power supply...3A at 6V and that thing was just toast !
Processor running and doing a proper job wants 5A
i made a transformer based power supply with big filter caps...it's big, it's ugly but works like a charm

Jeremy -
I think you might be able to get an entire DVDO HD from someone on here for about what DVDO charges for the PS alone: $84 including shipping from CA to Pgh! What I learned from AVS and elsewhere was that the original PS were under-engineered (P of S's) and conked out often...I think that is why they are hard to find. Equivalent spec'd replacements are also hard to locate anywhere. Maybe I'm not a good searcher, but I had no luck.
The thread on buy/sell I had is here:

Good luck -- if you do find the equivalent PS for $25 as curt supposes (and I think "ought" to be the price), document that for other poor suckers like us.
