This video is why I have to spend almost $20+ alone on any package, because I have gotten some of the items I ship back because of shipping companies...
This is ridiculous, If you are too lazy to stand there and ring the damn buzzer then you need a change in employment, perhaps law enforcement?

I know a guy..who works for Fed-ex. Too lazy isn't the issue. Fed-ex times the driver's routes gives them 8 seconds per stop to delivery the packages. If you fall behind their schedule you get disciplined. Fed-ex even sends out spotter cars to check up on the driver's time per stop. It makes you wonder if this is why the care isn't given to our packages.

Check out the comments below the video. This could well be fake, but still.... in the ongoing Canadian Freightways claim I've got going, the woman from CF told the courts that 'I could take hours to inspect a shipment before signing for it, our drivers are on no timeline'.
Yeah... right.

I saw it on Fox and CNBC. Doesn't that cancel it out?

When a package cannot be deivered here they leave a card in your post box and you go and get it from the local office. Looks like a better idea then chucking it over the fence.

I must be fortunate to have good UPS and FedEx drivers here as they not only bring the packages to the door when I am not home, but even wrap them in plastic if the weather calls for rain to keep them dry.
I just liked the latest comment on that video. I do wonder when a house is fortified like that what delivery people are to do. I imagine almost all the houses in that neighborhood are like that. If he wrang the bell and waited for every one, he probably wouldn't deliver much in a day. Not making an excuse for him chucking a TV over a fence, but just wonder what protocol is in a neighborhood where you cant get to the door.
