Okay guys

I have new of both for sale, who can expand some on exactly what the differences might be? Same pinouts, I am told that there is a tiny difference in the guns.

pinout of the tubes, hope they are correct.
pin 7 might be different between lugs and lpb tubes.

in case of kh in the tube connect a 1M 1/2watt to the ground point on the vnb where the "aquadags"(probably misspelled but you know what i mean) go.

See pin 7 0n the LUG (KH1) and the comment under the diagram. Both are high resolution tubes.

Hello

I was curious what KH1 is, should a neckboard be modified if necessary for that, and do LPB03s look just like LUGs in actual use.

if it lowers capacitance then it might be easier on the neckboards, a big plus if you ask me.
running 1080p drives crt pj`s hot, the big resistors on the neckboards get very hot, i was thinking of replacing the resistor with one that can be mounted on a heatsink.

looking at the schematic of the vnb there is a resistor of 330k going to ground from pin 7 so you only need to replace it with a 1M 1/2w.

from what I understand, they are identical. Lugs are more for the Barcos that use that extra grid pin. LPBs are good for Marquees. I have LPBs in my machine from Terry's fire sale a year or so ago.
