I hope that I understand what you need.
I have this little interface, D/A converter, remove HDCP and can mount directly on port3.
This interface was for sale in this forum but I don't remember name or model

Well,
I can offer this VGA/Port 3 cable (see picture):
It is about 2.8 meters long and I used a high quality cable when I made it. As You can see, every video line has its own double shielded coax cable and then there is double shielding around the whole package. I have been using it for about one year and picture quality was perfect (no smearing, no ghosting). You can have it for 30 Euros including shipment. PM me for details if you're interested.
Regards,

Yes this interface is specific for Barco 808 and must connect to port 3 (serial 9 pin) DIRECTLY (there are two screw at the edge, see pictures).

The connector spacing is particular to the 808 chassis, the box takes power
from the rs232 port. There is an internal solder jumper that can be moved
to take power from the DVI cable, as I recall, and also the possibility to
take external power. It is a nice solution.

I see what you are saying about how this box connects. Even more neato than I originally thought. So what happened to the production of these. I have been on this forum for a few years and can't recall any chat about them.
