Here's a weird one I just got in. An L&G FQ900 receiver. SO rare, I can't find it online!

About 50 watts per channel, mid 1970s? Good condition. The dial light changes color whether tuning AM or FM , see below. 1 channel is dead, controls need cleaning, great shape otherwise...

1952 Eicor reel to reel tape recorder. Picked this up for $72 on eBay, took about an hour to get it running.

It came with one 5" reel of 1950 paper tape. White backing, in awesome shape. Some kind soul dated the tape at the beginning, of Dec 26, 1950. I guess a young couple was leaving, so it was a bunch of goodbye messages, then some songs on fiddle and piano.

Golly gee, good times!

I think it will takea 7" reel, I didn't check. Some of these old decks had an oddball max size of 6"..

Dragged home a teac 3340 the other day, obviously sat in a garage for a decade or so. Anybody have a good source for pinch rollers?

Good score, I grabbed one a few weeks ago as well, with the original wired remote. I'd check ebay for the pinch roller.

Other than some minor aluminum corrosion (mostly cosmetic), a sticky VU meter, and noisy controls, the biggest issue is one of the reel table clamps got bent somewhere along the way, breaking off some of the casting, but it should be able to be straightened, and made at least functional.

Bah, I have so much stuff here, I can't keep up. Just got a full size 100 CD jukebox.. will pick it up mid December. Works, but 'needs a bit of work'. It's an NSM. I'll flip that once I play with it.

the RTR site is out of control, emails about buying/selling/repairing reel to reels every day, and I don't have time to work on them due to sound quotes. Rough life! Very Happy

I'm playing a mini violin for you Curt. Laughing

You should do a mini 3 picture shoot when you finish something and post a couple here.
