Okay, I have everything installed. The red is all red, no picture. Where do I start troubleshooting?

Found it, a connector wasn't completely connected.

Assuming you have the G2 on pin 6, then first i would look at the G2 settings in the service menu,
there is a good description of this on Tim's site... http://www.etechvideo.com/about.htm
If you had disconnected the video input cables on the neckboards, they can be difficult to
get completely seated - which might be worth looking at. Other may have more ideas.

OK - you found it - are you done yet? - I hear there's a HT meet scheduled at
your location this Saturday!

I have it on the ceiling! I have the gray scale pretty much set. I'm still learning the controls and procedures for setting it all up though, so I guess if I'm hosting a HT meet this saturday I hope someone who knows what their doing stops by before then. I am far from the master at mechanical focus and magnetics. Drives me absolutely bonkers. I did get it pretty close while it was on floor.

Thanks for all your help, do you need a set of tubes? I would rate them at 8 or slightly under on Curt's scale.

Hi & Thanks - you can re-use those tubes in the 1208 by jumping the neckboards #2 to #6,
and have a nice PJ to play games on etc.........
I thought for some reason you were in the same area as Don Wallace/William/Clarence?
Good luck with the setup!

Yep, I'm in the same area as Don/William/Clarence, though I never seem to able to make to the HT meets.

I don't have room for the 1208, although it would be nice to keep my 11 year old and his PS3 off these tubes. I'll probably just put it in the Buy and Sell section for free local pick-up.
