hello guys

it's my first post in this forum (hi all Cool ), just startet to get in touch with calibration (HCFR and Spyder3). reason for that is the new Samsung LED TV and the oppo BDP-93 Blu-ray Player, i just want to get out maximum possible. i got trough the dummies guide, step by steb. picture is already absolutely astonishing, but there are still some questions regarding the gamma.

before pictures:

after calibration:

What (if any) am i doing wrong?`why is my gamma curve so far away from the target, and most of all,
why it's even more away from the target than before calibrating things? and what about my work/results.
did i do a good job or is there more to do beside the gamma?

would be really thankfull for any advice from the pro's. thanks in advance.
