Haven't used the stuff, but, I emailed the company and asked which product they would recommend to use for painting on drywall and for use with a crt pj. Their reply was
Quote:
Depending on the brightness and contrast of your CRT we suggest using the Silver or Ultimate Contrast. Most CRT do fine with the Silver.

stuff ain't cheap!!

Hell, that's dirt cheap compared to Screen Goo. CRT White topcoat is $136 per 1000 ml -- that's **$514** per gallon, kids!

Yep, I and can't tell a difference between Goo and Behr UPW!

Anyway, will they send out samples? I may call to see. I don't see how their silver wouldn't hotspot like an MF.

Hey, this is interesting. I just got another email from the company.

Quote:
We are emailing you to correct our previous suggestion. If you have a CRT projector you should not use any of the gradients ( Silver or
Premium ) A CRT projector has excellent black reproduction and would
only benefit from a Lumen enhancing technology found in Mica White.

We apologize for the confusion but want to make sure you get the best
product for your screen.

At least someone else saw my email and made a correction. hhmmm...

Also, I asked fr a sample. So, we'll see.

And how would that be any different then what they are doing? Wink

Honestly, I have a 9"x12" sample of screen goo and a painted a 9"x12" sample of Behr UPW. I've done single blind tests with several people with the samples at different parts of the screen (center, edges, top, bottom) and no one yet has been able to tell the difference.

Political unrest in Kasblekastan has forced our project into W. Korea.

The W. korean government is far more receptive to our research. However the embargo on the korean peninsula has shut down our Copper wire factory. It seems the government may have been using the product for... well .... another project they were excited about. Embarassed

Screen Goop however has no political ties!

It produces a pure white screen, no hotspotting high gain! its great!!!

Its even being used in the palace of the prime minister of W. Korea Gen. Ahh Choo Soo.

He's thrilled with the picture he gets from his Ampro Projector!

Almost 3d!

Order now. Buy one full kit get one at 1/2 price!!! Very Happy

I'm sorry, but I'll have to pass on that "NEW" paint you've come up with. Looking at your screen shot, the whites look crushed and the colors are off. Thumbs Down
