I have a series of 9" lenses now with front or back scratched elements that I want to cannibalize and make one good lens out of two or three.

I'm seeking someone to make a tool that will span the lens to fit into the lens locking rings so I can unscrew them. I actually most likely have a guy locally that can do it, but he doesn't like one-offs, so if anyone else is interested in such a tool, post here as well. SHould be simple to make, it will probably look similar to the tool that comes with a faucet rebuilding kit, just about 10X the size.

If it doesn't span far enough you can use your own metal dowels that are longer.
