hi CasetheCorvetteman
i will need to use the power supply if i want to go throw the receiver.
the pj is waiting to be hang on the ceiling i need to know that there is not problem with the pj before hanging it
i think that it's due to the hdfury2 because when i use hdfury 1 there is no jumping but there is shifting of the picture to the left on BDMV files
so from that i can conclude that the pj is working fine
and the only thing i need to solve is the converting method i should use from HDMI to RGBHV

Put it through the receiver and then try it.

By converting method, what do you mean? The colour space? try both, but in my experience 16-235 looks quite abit better than 0-255.

i have tried to connect the hdfury2 via the receiver it doesn't work only if i connect the power supply to hdfury2
may be its because i'm not using the exact value of 5V DC power supply as the hdfury2 manual says
i have only 4.5V or 6V and i'm using the 4.5V
i'm afraid to change it to 6V

Hmmm... I see...

Im not going to say you should do it, but i cant see 6 hurting it. If you get a meter and test the output, youll probably find with no load the 4.5 volts is up around 6 anyway. If you can measure the voltage while its in operation, do that and see what you get.

i sew this at user manual for hdfury2

q/ The image rolls, is unstable, or doesn't always lock on. What do I do?

a/ Some displays such as early Electrohome ECP and Barco CRT projectors have fussy
sync circuitry. You need to combine the H/V sync lines using a $2 BNC T-connector
(see picture in last question). You could also use an Extron 109 or 202 box to combine

if i understand they recommend to take bnc t-connector and what to connect to it?
h/v in 1 connector to h/ in the pj
and another h/v in the v/ in the pj

They mean to take the H and the V and connect them to the same input, which will likely be the H

Did you ever reverse the polarity on the power input? Even for a second?

hi AnalogRocks

i have sticked to the HDFURY2 specifications which says + out so i didn't try to change the polarity

from hdfury manual
http://dme.ghost2.net/hdfury/docs/HDfury2manual.pdf

Quote:
What sort of power supply does the HDfury2 use?
The HDfury2 power supply adheres to these requirements:
- Provides REGULATED (+/- 5%) 5VDC power with 500mA min DC current
- Delivers the power through a small 0.65mm diameter center pin / 2.6mm outer
diameter DC plug (like the one often used in cellular phone AC adaptor)
- Provides the correct polarity with 'plus' on the OUTER part of the plug and 'minus'
(ground) on the small center pin of the DC jack.
Trying to use an AC/DC adaptor that doesn't adhere to these three requirements may
destroy the HDfury2.

Ok that was just something to consider. If you had reversed the polarity you could have damaged the unit.

i think i'm onto something.
it might be strange but when there is no movement in the picture there is no jumping.
and something more strange is when i push on my remote control one of the buttons even the picture jump because of that
therefor i have asked a good friend of mine about that and he told me that there might be some magnetic field that can cause that symptom so he recommended to put the hdfury2 in a metal box i will try to do that letts hope that this is the end to my missouri

Do you have your HDF plugged into the same outlet as the projector?

Try plugging them both into the same outlet, maybe bypassing the power conditioner as a test too.

I was going to recommend trying this as well. It has something to do with your power. I have you tried using different power supplies?

The home theater construction project never ends! Any advice on seating would be appreciated. I know familyleisure.com sells them. Any other ideas?
