Well you've heard of a JAck in the box right? Wonder how many times you have to crank the handle before this thing pops up and takes your head off?

I had a case like that for an Ampro 2000. No cranking needed, teh hydraulics were weighted to the projector. A simple pull up and push down was all that was needed.

I had one of those in the shop for years - it was too wobbley to make a good
work table though, and took up a lot of space. Kept the mechanism however,
but have no idea what I will use it for....
