I'd like to try it but I don't have a HTPC. My Bluray player has a 24 Hz mode, but that's out of this pj's sync range. I wish there were a cheap frame multiplier device that would bump it up to 48 or 96 Hz.

Ok. I have just found one of the major sources of my raster alignment problems. The blue and red crt's seem to have the large CRT spacers installed (behind the CRT face), meaning that in effect, the red and blue are too "cross eyed" for my throw distance. I need to use a smaller (perhaps medium sized) spacer, so that I can centre my rasters while keeping them converged with the green cross hatch.

the image below is borrowed but the blue arrow points to the spacers Im referring to (I want to change it with one that is thinner)

There are two problems I face in changing from a large to a medium spacer, and hopefully ones that can be easily solved with an answer:
1. Having not done this before, I have no idea if I need to adjust, loosen or otherwise move anything that is around the neck of the CRT when I adjust the angle of it by changing the CRT spacer, to avoid damaging the CRT
2. I do not have any medium spacers. Is there anything readily available that I can use as a substitute for a spacer? Or is there anything that can be bought and easily modified to do duty as a medium crt spacer?

Any help is appreciated![/img]

By the way I do'nt want to do the mod shown in mooneyass's guide to setting up the 1270 because My projector is mounted on the ceiling and it is staying there for as long as possible, so any maintenance will have to be done while its hanging from the ceiling.

I should have a set of small spacers if you need them.
