I have an H20 box in both the bedroom and living room. In the living room, channel 101 is pixelated bad. It is fine in the bedroom. All other channels in the living room are fine. I have a 5 LNB dish. Any idea as to what could be causing this? I don't want to switch boxes because I most likely would not get one for over the air.

Coax? I would think that would affect more than one channel on more display.
Bob, tell us something about the displays in the two rooms. How big are they, what is their native resolution, and can you confirm what each H20 is setup for in terms of available output resolution?
BTW, I'll happily trade my display/DirecTV problem with you.

Try swapping the 2 boxes you have and see if the problem stays or goes with the box.

The bedroom set is an about 12 year old Sony Vega 36 inch. It is naturally running 480i via S video.
The living room is running 1080i via component to a Lumagen scaler in the pass through mode to a Moome transcoder and RGBHV to the 9500 LC.
What transponder is 101 on? When I run a signal test, all transponders are in the high 90's but 26 is about 48.

I don't play with satelite but on the digital cable I've had the displeasure of working on, a bad coaxial cable caused ONE chanel to stutter and freeze.

Well, I finally got around to switching boxes and the problem went to the bedroom. Direct TV sent me a re-furbished box. As luck would have it, I was hoping to get an H20 so I could still get my locals over the air. And that is what showed up.  Then the S-Video connection to my DVD recorder did not work. Finally I substituted a generic S-Video cable. The problem was solved. The name of the bad S-Video cable?? MONSTER!! There was one dead pin.
