Hi there!

I tried to calibrate a Sharp Quattron 42" LE830 LED TV using my Calman X2 colorimeter and Calman 4.2.1 software. The TV provides quite comprehensive CMS, and 10 point grayscale adjustment. I am quite new to calibration and something went wrong. The blue level goes way too high even thought the grayscale adjustements for "B" were tuned as low as possible. The second issue is the gamut luminance which is far too low. I could not really achieve flat charts around zero- level, the only way to do this was increasing "color" setting high which resulted in huge Delta C and Delta H and definide color oversaturation.

I tried to follow some calibration guides but none really gives me an answer to this problem. Could you help me somehow?

On the attached screenshots of color gamut please DO NOT take into consideration the blue position because the shoot was taken when the image on the TV had been changing. I drawed a red line and put a red dot to the place where it was on the previous measurement.

I donh't know if you have this fixed yet or not.. The first thing you need to do before you mess with color is to calibrate your greyscale which is way out to lunch. I recently cvalibrate and 832 and the colors calibrated very well. Greyscale first.

I agree with Donny Mac. Greyscale first. Had very good results doing so with an Aquos LC70LE732U.
