Are there fundamental differences between the two or are they similar.

909 has two 6 pole astig windings = 4 more wires. The magnetic field seems different,
the 909 coils ended up further back on the tube neck for best overall focus. The values
for inductance and resistance are similar...

So the projector astig board would need to be able to address the six pole aspect of these coils. I have not seen 909 focus yokes are there 13 wires on the connector that is the 9 of the 808 plus the four extra for the additional astig windings.

I wanted to use the 909 focus yokes in an 808 chassis do I need to rewire the 909 focus yokes or can I drop them straight in. In doing so only use the 4 pole aspect of the astig windings.

Be sure to get the original connector / wiring harness with the 909 coils.

I don't know the pinout - but I am sure there are people here with the service manual.

Would anyone be able to help with the pinouts for Barco 808s focus yokes and 909 focus yokes. I have an 808 and 909 manual but they does not contain this information.
