Well Guys
We were very pleased to have a visit from Alex Amoretti of Analog France, who stopped by with the new STE100 switcher/edge blender. It has every capability of the DVX "BlendZilla" and comes equipped with two DVI-D and two HDSDI inputs, in addition to six analog inputs via HD15 connectors. HDCP is handled so drop two Moome cards in your projectors and get blending! Scaling is improved, and the image from the Dish satellite was crisp and detailed, awesome! WK will be pleased to hear (or more appropriately 'not hear') that this smaller unit is nearly silent in operation.
MSRP of $6400, it is a steal! Our demo was just after lunch and the ambient light here was not conducive to screen shots, and sadly, the unit was needed elsewhere for next week so a longer test drive was not available this time.
