Sorry - It is somewhat hidden. Try this:

1 - Go to tvone home page.
2 - Open up "support" at top tool bar.
3 - Open up "Knowledge Database"
4 - Open up C2 Resolution Editor which is under the "All Corio Units" column. 5th one down.
5 - Scroll upwards to the "resEdit_setup1.23b.exe, and open
6 - When you load it and open it, justplug in the H & V resolutions and refresh rate that you want, then hit "create new".
7 - Open up the second page by hitting the "advanced" tab and read everything you will ever need to know about the signal.

Nash was deeply concerned about the federal government shutting down, then he realized, the government doesn't do squat, and no one can tell the difference!!!!!!

No, the exe did not work.

I found this on AVS by tse

One of the biggest factors that deals with projector picture quality is resolution, that's why 1920x1080 instead of 480i. Right? That's also why 9" CRTs. All this deals with resolving scan lines. There are also vertical lines that need to be resolved. To draw a horizontal scan line may take several uSEC. To draw a vertical line the beam may only be on for a couple of nano-seconds. That's a couple of billionths of a second, a very short period of time. It takes a much higher video bandwidth to draw one pixel wide vertical lines than it takes for horizontal scan lines. The vertical lines have a lot to do with the "sharpness" of the picture. If the bandwidth is low the picture can look smooth or lack in detail.

For 1920x1080P@60Hz it takes a pixel clock frequency of about 160MHz.

1920x1080P@72Hz needs a pixel clock frequency about 194MHz.

Your video bandwidth needs to be MORE than half the pixel clock frequency to have good resolution.

Some PC resolutions:

1600x1200P@66Hz=pixel clock at 164MHz (very close to 1920x1080@60Hz)

1600x1200P@72Hz=194Mhz (way up there but a little less than 2048x1536@60Hz which is about 243Mhz).

1280x1024P@60Hz=pixel clock at 101MHz.

1600x1200P@60Hz=pixel clock at 124MHz.

1600x1200P@72Hz= pixel clock at 180MHz.

1600x1200P@66Hz=pixel clock at 164MHz.

Did the File Download - Security Warning screen pop up? Perhaps your security settings won't let you open it?

Update on the triple stack

From a blank sheet of paper, and having now spoken to TVOne, I'd have at least tested the blend solution, using two projectors. However, having mounted three on the ceiling, I'm not minded to change this without some huge impetus. That impetus indeed arose in the early stages as I was finding it impossible to converge the three projectors at the screen edges without the benfit of horizontal linearity adjustment on my Barcos (I have it on the Runco). By dint of time spent I've now largely overcome that issue, and will doubtless make more progress over time. To convert now to a blend would involve great additional expense, including the hardware/software and repositioning the projectors much closer to the screen.

I've never seen a blended set-up, therefore can't offer any comparison to that. What I can say is that the overlaid images of two projectors is the equivalent of a night/day step change from one projector. An absolute revelation, and something truly inspiring to justify my efforts. The third projector is a further material improvement in contrast and brightness - an infinitely greater improvement to the picture than I've routinely achieved in my sound system by spending ten times as much.

If the nth degree of sharpness is what you're looking for, you won't find it here. The softening is actually not an issue on non BluRay material, and not an issue for me anyway, given the other benefits of this set-up. For my money (and a relatively small amount of it to be fair) I've found a picture that leaves me excited to get home from work each night to watch with wonder movies I've always loved but never seen presented as well. Bear in mind, this is before I've had the Guru colour correct it all, replace the fans with something less intrusive, and genrally assist with the final tweaks.

This will inspire me shortly to undertake whatever sensible upgrades are available for my CRTs (including HDMI feeds etc), from which point, that's me sorted out for the foreseeable future. Oh, and the huge hush box needs to be built.

It will then be journey's end, and what a fabulous destination.
