Hi,

I have a sony Sony vph-1251 that i would like to ceiling mount. Since i don't have the original mount i was going to use unistrut, but i can only find 3 holes towards the front of the projector.

Does it really only have 3 holes?

If anyone knows of a smart way of mounting it, please tell me Very Happy

Thx.

I just checked my 1272 and it only has 3 close together I would just get 2 sections of square tubing strong enough to hold it. The rear piece would have 2 and the front would have 1 bolt let them run across to the unistrut on either side. Rich

Thanks.

All of the holes on mine are located on the front of the projector. Near the tubes.

I am going to mount it using unistrut, but i don't know how to hold the back of it.
As i understand you have 2 holes towards the back of the projector, and on towards the front

There is only 3 holes in the middle of the CRT. They will hold fine the projector.

the underside of my projector looks exatctly like the one in the pdf, but i don't understand how you are going to mount two pieces of tubing to it.

Edit:

is the way you are suggesting i mount it, similar to the picture with the red bars?

Like this

I put this up years ago and I can hang any projector from it. Yours would have the square tubing bolted to the projector instead of the mount. Rich
