After sitting dormant for about a year, I am setting up my NEC XG 75 again.

I used the pc software to set it up before but I cant seem to get into the expert mode now? I tried the default 3151 but it does not accept it. Is there a way to reset the code?

Thanks in advance.

3151 should be it, or try 13151. If you don't have a password entered, you need to enter your own, then go back to user mode, and enter the 3151 when it asks for a password.

Returning to user mode seemed to be the missing step.

Thanks!

I thought it was 315151.

Hana with an extra Na.

Named after Mike Hana, their longtime NA exec and all-around nice guy.

The first four digits are for the standard setup, ONLY enter the last two if you want to go to the ultra-top-secret reference menu...which even I avoid most of the time.

Really? In a CRT trivia game, I would have missed that question!

I'm so full of it...my eyes are brown.

Don't ever let them tell ya the green stuff kills brain cells, either.
