Should we be worrying about the CRT archives at AVS at all? I know there was a link to a third-party AVS forum archiver someone posted, but that looked (cursory glace) to be a bit of a pain to navigate...and who pays for that site? Seems like it'd be a shame to loose all the info someday.
I think a search of my ECP projector gave 38 pages of topics. I'd bet I could go through and pickout 100 threads that would be useful to pull off in PDF form over the course of a few hours. I've been thinking of making a ECP MS sharepoint portal site for the dozen people still using one!

Nah, all the avs stuff is still there, it just means there have been 10 posts in the last 10 days. Sad, it used to be the busiest forum there..

Just look at the CRT PJ Gallery over on AVS. It is updated regularly, but I don't think any postings there in the past 5 years have actually contained a CRT PJ. They all contain some DLP RP unit or digital PJ.
Most people just getting into this hobby probably don't even know what a CRT PJ is... IF they know what a CRT PJ is, they associate it with some 1980's misconverged airline unit, etc. ("I've seen those "three light" projectors and they're really crappy!").
