I talked today with a gentleman that has a Ampro 69581hd(documentation says HD is for HDTV). Which tubes would it most likely have and would they be compatible in a 1208s/2?

180DVB22 or PT18 tubes. Sticker is on the side, under the metal shield. The 1208s may have Sony tubes or it could have MEC, I've never been able to tell from the model number.

The Ampro's tubes will be compatible and have a good chance of being PT18-205's, the same as are in your Barco. If they're not the same, they'll work. The Ampro will DEFINITELY have MEC tubes, and they *should* be the higher resolution variety.
