So I’m sitting down in the theater in my normal spot watching, below and a little to the right of the XG… I was watching “Love and Drugs” - save your comment, you actually do see a boob or two of Ann Hathaway so you might want to check out the film… Anyway I notice a few drops of water hit the top of my head… Humm weird…..Look up get a few drops in my face….YIKES ….I quickly shut down the projector and remember I put a load of dishes in the dishwasher before starting the movie.
The Kitchen Aid dishwasher is less than a month old…So I’m thinking I did something wrong during the installation. Turns out it was a bolt that holds the top rack that wasn’t tight from the factory and was causing the machine to leak out the side. What’s amazing is I’m talking about missing the HV Splitter by a couple of inches that would have been very exciting.

i have hardwood in the kitchen including under the dishwasher. since i only have the workshop under the kitchen, i'm thinking that it might be a good thing to drill a 1/2" hole or two in the floor under the diswasher so that if it does leak, the water has somewhere to go (down ) and i save the hardwood. heck if do star to get some leaking, i'll probably notice it before it gets too bad.
hmmmm.

Actually I have hardwood in the kitchen too...So far I don't see any issue yet...I don't think it was leaking much...Will have to wait and see. I think the water was running down the hole where the water supply comes up through the floor.

Ouch - that would have been a mess!
Old houses and water leaks are a pain - having nice equipment
under kitchen equipment, with even a small drip can be really
frustrating.
