What do I need to get the Ps3 on a Marquee?

(this is the second time some one has come over expected to play on the big screen ... only to disappoint!)

Hello

Marquees want RGB in, if equipped with a decoder they will also display S or composite. Add a Moome card and HDMI and component are doable, with the appropriate cables.

So really all I need is this http://www.curtpalme.com/VIM-FULLHD.shtm

All my sources except the Wii have an HDMI out... anything I can do to get the Wii included?

I thought he had a stand alone one as well?

Are there other options?

An HD Fury is the competition to moome to convert your HDMI to RGB, and is a standalone product.

If your Wii has only component out then grab yourself a RTC2200 transcoder for component input and gamma adjustment as well. You can connect the HDfury to it on the RGB input so you will get gamma boost there too.

I have a chance to grab Marquee 8000 in good condition with about 1500 hours on it. Seller claims it works great with hdfury and ps3. Anyone have some experience with this combo?? Can i expect razor sharp images in HD??

I have an 8500 with a PS3, though I feed it with a Moome box instead of HDFury.

Most 8500's won't quite hack 1080p but 720p should look awesome. As far as I know the 8000 should handle it just as well. It does take a very good setup to take full advantage of the signal. My setup is not optimal and I've given up on trying to make it any better, but it is definitely not as sharp as my XG was with an HD Dish signal.

You mean signal setup or pj setup?? unfortunately i donīt have ANY experience with crt pjs but i definitely want to have one, i think marquee 8000 should be a good choice for a newbie like me. What about 1080i????
