To get your throw distance you need to set the projector up on the floor, run a signal to it, maximize the rasters and then move the projector forward and back 'till the image fills your screen.

That's your correct throw distance

Well, I goofed a bit. (luckily not an expensive one) I cut some pieces without finding out that the span was bigger then I was guesstimating. I figured 1 foot on center instead of 16 on center. So now I don't have enough strut to make enough hangers. I made 3 3 1/2 foot stringers and made 3 foot bars to go across them. I have a 1 4 foot piece left from the 20 I bought. Can I get away with two hangers with 4 lags a piece or should I stick to my original plan and buy another 10 foot to get the other pieces I need?

Ok I have enough strut to do the 2 joist hangers not the 3 joist hangers. Am I ok with the 2 joist hanger?
