Does the 1209 have color corrected red and green? If not, does it have the orangey reds and yellowy-greens like the Barco 808?

No color filtering in 1200, 1209 or 1209s, unless installed later.
So colors are about same that 808.
Runco clones have filtering installed.

How difficult is it to add? I'm used to an NEC which most agree have the best color accuracy.

The biggest problem is that HD-10 color filtered c elements are no longer in production....

Not too difficult and here's good tutorial.

It's good to chance clear glycols at same time, those get yellow after years.

My friend has a pair of HD10GT17 as well so that should solve the color problem.
Is a stock 1209 fairly quiet? My xg135 is anything but.

The 1209 is fairly quite for a 9 inch machine but you need Red and Green c elements for color correction. All HD10GT17 lenses are color corrected but not color filtered....

I understand the 1209 is THE quietest 9" machine or is a Cine 9 more quiet?

1209S is very quiet all the time - Cine 9 seems quiet until the H-board fan kicks in, then too bad...

Is the xg135 corrected, filtered or both? How good will the color accuracy be on the 1209 with gt17 lenses? I had a PG for several years and an XG for a few more so color is pretty important.
