Secondly, the video processing and the chip in the DVI is not as good as the HDP. What is your souce? With anything but 1080p/24 you are unlikely to be able to get the DVI to lock onto the film cadence and covert to 72 correctly, you will get the tearing you mention.
To feed the DVI 1080p/24 and get a good 72 out takes some more tweaking with the the DVI than the HDP. It can be done, but takes some work. |
Exactly, the VisionDVI is a lesser architecture than the other Vision processors; HDP, HDQ, HPDPro. I don't think the VisionDVI will support 800x1920p at 60Hz or at 72Hz either, but I may be wrong on this. The HDFury will easily do 800x1920 at 72Hz though.
