Now that I have ripped down my 9500 to its core, I have a picture in my head of Full Metal Jacket when Private Pyle is cleaning his gun at lightning speed with a scary crazed look his face. I could not fine the right pic, but this is a great one also.

I can R&R EVERY board in a X600 AmPro in half the time it would take you just to get a Marquee apart

I took apart my 9500LC while it was on the ceiling, to remove it for refurb/overhaul, and reinstalled it the same way.
It really didn't take that long. Taking it apart to take it down in pieces took maybe 45 minutes. Pull the covers off, then
the lenses. Disconect every cable going to the CRT assemblies and be careful to get them ALL. Triple check so no ground wires
are left attached. Yank out the focus and HDM and then remove the top plate over the CRTs. Unbolt the CRT assemblies and
remove with extreme care. A helper here is probably advisable. One guy to hold the assembly, the other guy to pull the bolts.
Yank out both power supplies next. Disconnect all cables from the hinged rear heat sink assembly, including ground straps,
loosen one hinge screw, take out the heat sink assembly. What remains of the unit weighs maybe 25 pounds at most and
can be handled pretty easily.
Reverse the process for reinstallation. This will take longer since you want to be really careful to hook up all the cables, and put
them where they belong. It's really easy to get some connections swapped around. Marking mating connectors with red, green,
and blue Sharpies is probably a good idea. Saves time and avoids mixups.

I've had my Marquee8000 for 6 months now, I've just finished disassembling it.
Still have something to clean and then I'll start to reassemble it... maybe I'll be ok for Christmas 2012
