|
|
I have both a Moome 1st version and John W. 1st version Sony DVI Card that I have a question on. They both work great in my Sony 1292 and 1272, but I would also like to use them with a Barco 801s and 1200 via a Sony 1271 Switcher. I've plugged the switcher into a Barco 801s already via RGBHV and it and the two DVI cards both work with the Barco so I know that it all works together. My problem is that 720p and 1080i are pos. sync and the Barco does not sync to them so I cannot use this setup for HDTV like I want.
Is there a way to change either of those two cards (via dip switches or ?) that will make them output only a neg. signal?
Thank you for your input.

Hello,
I really like my 1271m switcher. Not only for my Sonys but also for my Barco 701. You can force the 1271 to put out everything in RGBS with neg. sync! You have to remove the output module (4 screws) and there you will find three dipswitches. One says sth. like: NEG. COMP. SYNC. That is the switch you have to activate to generate a RGBS signal with a negative sync out of any inputs (well exept video or svideo)!
Good luck from Munich

Thanks. I was unaware you could do that with the 1271 switcher. I found and flipped the switch and will hook it up to the Barco 801s this week.

Works perfect! Thanks for the tip on the switcher. I now have the switcher outputting everything in negative sync with both DVI cards working.
