|

My Sony G70 works OK when I feed it a video signaal (I use a HDFury 3).
However without a live video signal the projector starts to produce flases of light coming out of all tubes simultaneously every few (between 5 and 10 sec) seconds. This problem disappears as soon as I put the video feed back on.
Has anybody an idea what is causing this and how to correct/repair it?
Any help/suggestions highly appreaciated.

Try turning the projector off. You should be able to watch your screen without any of those annoying flashes.
Sorry, couldn't help it...

Jokers!
That's the analog output on the HD Fury 3 that's flashing - not the projector. I noticed it in my setup, too.
It happens when the HDF3 is powered, but has no input. Removing power from the the HDF3 or giving it an input signal on the HDMI side seems to be the only way to stop the obnoxious flashing.
