|
|
Hi
I have purchased an HDFURY (vga/blue edition) to connect my hdmi sources to my Acer xga projector.
For a week it worked perfectly and now it seems to have developed a problem.
Could anyone please help me to work out if it has indeed stopped working
properly.
I have a Samsung Bluray 5500 player and a bush sat01HD freesat box.
Connecting all was a breeze. An HDMI /dvi-d cable. HDMI end in samsung or the bush ( depending which I wanted to view), the other into the HDFury and out into the Xga projector I have.
All worked fine for 2 weeks, blue light on in the hdfury and a great
picture.
Then suddenly all I get is a fuzzy green tinted image. I can see the source,
but it is like a bad snowy picture with a green hue.
I have checked the sourced with an hdmi television. Work perfect.
I have checked the projector. Works fine with xga/vga source.
Finally checked the hdfury and hdmi set up with another hi res vga screen I
have. Same problem. Fuzzy, green tinted image.
The blue light is on on the HDfury, but all I can think is it is on the
blink, or is not resetting, as if it is stuck in a certain resolution / hz regardless of the changing input source.
Just to mention I also have the HDfury power supply which works and is plugged in.
Can anyone help? I really would rather keep the HDfury and fiddle to get it working, but I am beginning to feel defeated and getting no further.

I wish it were that easy.
I am being given the run around, probably because it is such a techy item, the shop I bought from have told me to contact hkmod, hkmod have told me to go on hdfury forums, and hdfury forums are returning few to no replies or help, so I am a bit stuck right now

The seller is always responsible for what they sell IMHO.
