after reading so many peoples comments I am confused
some say using the y pr pb inputs give the same quality as the Hdm
so whats the truth is it just sales advice to add a converting plug in card?
it would then take a 20 mtr cable to reach the projector more expence if it does not give a huge difference
I get a real great looking picture on blu-ray set to 1080I in the player ..
the picture on 1080P is not as good ? could the be the projectors setup in not correct
the player is 50/60z and set to 60 HZ and ntsc even though most of the disc are pal
as the sony at y prbb is 60HZ input memeory 9
how can one realy tell what the g70 is putting out ? it there a way to tell what resolution it is displaying
I was thinking of resetting this unit up agin as its been a few years.
Has anyone got a better way than using the dot screen on the mg focas as that is so hard to use on the blue .

This conversion has always been a problem and very few devices did it well. With a moome card your using the best RGB conversion possible, from the add

It is by far the highest end Sony card he has yet to offer with new features such as: Two 100% HDMI 1.3 compliant inputs for Deep Colour support, better discrete 14bit D/A converters, faster 1GHz output buffer, and better op-amps for the best image quality possible! | not to mention low end Gamma boost, critical for CRT

. | that's a problem, you need to move the blue ray player closer.

Is the player really outputting 1080p? I thought BR players scaled down the analog out.

I use the "EM" and sometimes 'H' patterns.
