I understand making a mistake, and I even understand not honoring that big of a pricing error (to an extent), but I'm amazed that they would just cancel the order and not offer something in return... Here's a code for 10% or 20% off your next order... Something!

Bad PR move, I'd say. I've only ordered from them a couple of times in the past, and I can't say I'll be any more likely to order in the future.

That is pretty shady and I hardly ever order from them.

I did get the Shrek Quadrilogy for $30 though on BR. They followed through as well.

I never thought of that, Tom. I hope you guys aren't going to be receiving a lot of spam.

I agree with Crabb. They should have given a coupon or something. Their email was also a little distasteful.

I sure as hell did. In fact, I already replied back to them using their online form and stated not only would I be calling Amex to block any charges from them, but I would also ID them for credit fraud, and then I plan to email the FTC regarding their business practices.

I remember about ten years ago buy.com did the same exact thing over a computer monitor. You were saving about 40% and more than a hundred people placed orders. Buy.com screwed their customers and I never spent a penny with them again. Of course, I've spent tens of thousands of dollars on electronics and computer stuff elsewhere.

That's crazy. I've ordered from DD dozens of times and never had any problems.

Well now I don't feel so bad that they wouldn't take my credit card. Laughing

That happened with the laptop I am using right now...a 50% off anything at HP.com through bing cashback. They put everything on hold after receiving thousands of orders and then with bitching and MS's help they followed through!

I got a nice $1500 laptop for $750!
