Hi, as a christmas present, i got a Barco 701 HQ Projektor.
The Problem is that the HV LED light and i do not hear the typical "brrrrzzzz" of the HV voltage.
So in the moment i am searching for a service manual to have some ideas of searching.
What parts do often fail?

What i have done:

When i pull out the Quadropler (the big block in the powersupply) the LED did not whent to red.
When i pull out all the tube plugs, there is no difference.

Greetings from Berlin, Stefan

Is the red HV holddown light on on the front of the set?

Jep!!

It belongs only of when i pull out the Quadrupler (the box on the front left side).
Sorry i did a writing mistake in the first post.

Do you have a service manual for me?

The owner said, that the Barco has run 18000 ours but without tube wear on red and green, strange isn't it?

It is most likely a bad quadrupler. No way to test them short of swapping another one in.

A quad from a Barco 800/801/808 will work electrically, but it won't fit into the 701. I do have some quads coming in sometime in January, but they will be $250-350 each as they are getting impossible to find.

That are bad news.
What do you mean with "No way to test them short of swapping another one in".
-> The only way to test is, put a newone in?

Yes, there is no way to measure if a quadrupler is bad, you'd have to get another one and put it into the set, or take the one out of the 701 and put it into a working BArco.

Do you think it is possible to Recap the Quadrupler and fill it with silicone?
