I ordered the wife a personalized iPad on Friday morning and received the order confirmation. On Saturday, I got an email saying it shipped ... from China. And I have it now. I am surprised in that I thought the personalized units would add a couple of business days to process, but apparently that wasn't the case.

Of course, I have not opened the package yet so I do not know if it is truly personalized as opposed to an order screw-up. Mr. Green

Wan made a deal with the devil and bought an Apple product! Look out! The world is going to end!!! Wink

Be careful... You might like it and have to get another one to run iRule on in the HT. Wink

I've been amazed several times at how frickin' fast stuff comes from Apple China... From personalized (laser-engraved) iPods to custom-order MacBook Pros, it amazes me how something can go from an order on the web, to in production, to being out for delivery on FedEx all in the span of a few days. The logistics to make all that happen so quickly - and with very few mistakes - are completely mind-boggling to me. All the different pieces and parts, the assembly, customization, packaging, then shipping around the damn world... Crazy.

I can't tell if you're joking or not, but funny none the less.
