Hello all,
On my 701, what was working fine for a long time, there is no image on all three the tube's.
i'll think there is an problem with the quadrupler eg. there is no HV output. All of the green led's are burning and none of the red led's is illuminated.
Could the quadrupler be blown up?
Ton.

No, the quad almost always will show a red LED on the SMPS LEDs under the green lens.
My guess is that the TGB input board has a problem on it, that can cause a no pix condition, as can a bad SMPS that comes out under the lenses. Where are you located, can you send those boards in to be tested and repaired?

Hi Curt,
I'm from The Netherlands, so it is not so simple to 'bring'the boards to test them.
I'm having two 701 and two 801 barco's so i can swap some boards.

Right, but you can also damage boards if you swap in the wrong one. I've shipped the SMPS overseas for about $75 or so. What are the 761XXX or 762XXX board numbers, maybe I can sell you a couple outright. Nothing other than the quad or splitter from the 801 will fit into the 701.

Tonight i've measured the voltage on the quadrupler connector. With the quadrupler connected the voltage is about 185 Volts.
When i disconnect the quadrupler connector the voltage rise to 298 volts. So there's an input but there is no output. I'm doing something wrong?

You cannot measure a HV part that way, you can only substitute with a known working one, or send me yours and I'll test it in a machine here.
