No, they are different for the most part. The splitter is the same, the quad and EHT board will not work without modifications.

The quad and EHT module have to be compatible but the EHT can be modified. Here is a reference...

Yes you can use an 808G non-S quad and splitter in a Barco 1209 but you will need to physically modify the quad to fit in a 1209. I am currently running my 1209 clone with a 808 quad. As I recall I had to move the bracket from the 1209 quad and file off some of the plastic around one of the nut areas. Pretty easy to do once you see what you need to do.

Only need to modify physically the quads are identically electrically (you still need to use old quad/old EHT or new/new). Sorry no photos and it is in my ceiling mounted projector so I am not pulling the quad to take them Cool . It is REALLY easy and obvious once you have them together. Honestly it was simple. The biggest part is swapping the metal bracket of the 1209 quad to put on the good 808 quad. Those screws holding it in are LONG. Then my recollection is I had to file a small part off the plastic casing of the 808 quad where it hit the 120x chassis but I don't recall the details now (it has been two years since I did it). But honestly it is all pretty obvious and easy. Swapping the bracket with those long screws is the hardest part (well other than trying to mount a quad/any quad into a ceiling mounted projector).
