Ok, last night I setup the DVR to record the new movie Monsters off of HDnet Movies. As I stated in the subject line, there are SPOILERS ahead and everyone complaining about me spoiling the movie can KMA accordingly. Mr. Green

Monsters is a film much akin to Cloverfield where the alien or monster is the backdrop and not central to the movie at all. We all learned our lesson that the the 85 minutes of our life wasted watching Cloverfield would again repeat itself with me wasting 94 minutes with a even more boring movie.

I truly have to wonder who the F in Hollywood things films of this sort are worth funding. Jeez, I would think it would be a better investment in the Keith Richards diet of smoking, drugs, liquor and women--all four food groups. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

And while I wanted to say that Monsters couldn't happen to a better country, I really have to limit myself and say in North America. And while the two main characters are the only characters in the movie, we get zero satisfaction in the end for wasting our time since these two losers didn't get killed. Thumbs Down Thumbs Down

I am so glad I do not go to the movie theaters anymore, and I am glad I get to see these on HDnet Movies before some stupid hype penetrated my common senses to get to me to buy the BD. I do not know if Gareth Edwards was more than the writer and director (original story by him?), but this lame excuse for work is matched by his inept ability to identify things worth laboring over. He needs to get a Idea

At this rate I decided to help my fellow man by warning folks to NOT SEE THIS FILM.

It was watchable, but definitely not something to recommend.
