HELP!!!

I've got a Panasonic Blu-ray DMP-BD35. I was setting the resolution output for the Component out jacks, and I accidentally hit 720p, which my older rptv can't handle - only 480i and 1080i.

Now the screen is all haywire and I can't see the menu items to change it. I checked the manual for some sort of hard system reset, but I couldn't find anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I tried the standard Video out jack (yellow RCA) but I'm not getting a signal out from it.

HELP!!!

Thanks!

Funny... I just picked up a used BD35 from craigslist today.

Page 38 of the manual...

Reset the unit as follows:
1 Press [POWER O/I] on the unit to turn off the unit.
2 Press and hold [;], [POWER O/I] and [OPEN/CLOSE] on the unit at the
same time for more than 5 seconds until “HELLO” is displayed on the unit.
3 The power will turn on and then turn off.

So, it looks like you hold the pause button, power button, and open/close button down for 5 seconds from a power-off state, and it will reset to factory settings.

If that won't work, let me know and I'll get you the keypress settings to go into the menu and reset the resolution blind.

Power the unit off then hold PAUSE + OPEN/CLOSE + POWER at the same time. The unit will switch on then off.

Damn SC you beat me to it Laughing

Thanks guys!

I tried using the Composite video out jack, but I couldn't get anything to show up on my TV. So I hooked it up to an old Sony CRT in the bedroom via the Composite and BINGO! I got into the menu and reset everything.

Does anyone know how to adjust the 1080i beams in a Panasonic PT-47WX49?

Thanks again!
