Hello everyone,

I have a vph-1270qm that has been working perfectly for many years but now there is a problem.

The projector has been unplugged for about 7 months and when I started it there was no picture from the green tube on the screen when connected to my computer with RGB input so I looked in the tube and there was still an image but very dim. The red and blue tubes are perfect. when I use service man bam the green is fully back on but when back to pc desktop only red and blue. Also if I plug a dvd on the s-video connector the green is back on.

I have tried different cables and pc but still the same issue.

Can someone help me with this problem?

Unplug the RGBHV input board and plug it back in again. It may have shifted.

I just repaired a 1252 for a similar problem- it was a bad CA(G) board. I've got spares if you need one,but am out of town for a week. CA(G) board:

Thanks for the quick reply. I am currently away from home but I will check the RGBHV input board.
If the problem is on the CA(RG) could it be repaired instead of replacing it? The projector is in Belgium where spare parts a rare.
Could you tell me what was the exact problem on the 1252 because it could help me finding the precise fault in the circuit?
