MM isn't the only one advertising over there. AVS is basically just one big ad. Like I have said many times before, that is fine as long as people realize it going in.
That is cool. I am looking forward to it. As for the samples, let me PM Darin and see if he still wants to take a look at them. If not, then you can send them to Harp, Bill, UMR, or the trash can.

Here's the belated charts for these substrates...
The large Sintra sample
RGB 240 240 240
LAB 94.78 0.07 0.01
The small Sintra White
RGB 239 239 239
LAB 94.54 0.03 0.15
Sintra Gray
RGB 177 176 178
LAB 71.98 0.86 -1.03
Sintra Dark Gray
RGB 147 146 149
LAB 60.82 0.85 -1.42
Dibond
RGB 231 236 237
LAB 92.98 -1.38 -1.20
Gatorfoam
RGB 235 236 252
LAB 93.85 2.53 -7.63
Gatorplast
RGB 227 233 237
LAB 92.13 -1.43 -2.4
Gatorboard
RGB 233 234 249
LAB 93.09 2.38 -7.45
The best looking one of the bunch, number-wise, is the Sintra White. The Sintra Gray isn't bad either but it's probably much too dark for anyone here.

I'd like to add that I do intend to get gain readings from some of these as well in the coming months.

How about a sneak peek on the gain readings for the Sintra white? Then the Dibond will be a bit less (and skewed towards blue), and the Gatorfoam a bit more. But all in the same ballpark.

Tim,
I think the Dibond is unusable as is. It is just much to glossy, which is unfortunate as it would make an excellent screen. If they could make it with Gatorboard gloss and Sintra white, then it would be the perfect screen.

The earliest I could get to it would be Thursday but I probably won't do it then. It takes a quite a bit of time to set it up and do it.
