me again, another dumb question.

When I adjust the center focus and then tighten the knob(per the manaul)
I cannot turn the lens to adjust the corner focus unless I loosen the center
focus knob again and then they both move. What am I doing wrong?

Lenses might be a little stiff, especially if they haven't been used in a while. If the lens barrels are dirty, remove the lenses(don't forget to remove the ground wire) and clean the dust and stuff off with 1) vacuum cleaner 2) damp clean cloth 3) clean cloth or good paper towel moistened with isopropyl. This is not for the lens elements, just the barrels. Now loosen the edge focus nut and twist the front of the barrel back and forth to see if you can increase the range of movemnt while keeping the center focus adj. nut tight. Reinstall lens when you are satisfied with the improvement and reconnect ground wire. (PJ will not work with grounds diconnected.

Thanks for the info, I cleaned the lenses but not the barrels. The pj is very clean I didnt know this was a problem.
I never had an issue with it on my old zenith.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP>
