Hmm, as of this post, 2086 users of this forum 130 online at the moment and only 129 in this poll have CRT projectors.

taking up space:
Marquee 8500 with bad LVPS
Marquee 8110 with G2's in the 80's

I have a Electrohome ECP 3000. My dad found it on his job Smile SO he brougth it home for me to play with.

Marquee 9500LC, converted over from a 9000LC into a 8500 chassis.

8500 works but sitting in the garage
2X8500 parts machines(need tubes only)

a rotting hulk(no tubes) of an 9000 that I am trying to get rid of

I'll put the Ampro's into the double digits. Got a 3300 still screaming out a brite, clear pic after all these years. I think I bought it in "99. Also another 3300, 6PG+ and a 1020 Sony (my first).

5 years ago, I started with a Sony 1040, then a VSTAR 5, then a Sony 1020, moved up to a 1031 for 10 minutes till it went poof, and now I am loving my Sony D50. According to my calculations, I should be able to work my way up to a 9"LC in about 26 years. I hope you guys will still be around to help me out when I get there!

Forget the money side of things for a moment. How much space have you guys got my one Barco takes up a heck of a lot of room. Where do you put 2 or 3 of these monsters?

I used to have the ones I wasn't using stacked in a corner, one on the ceiling and one that I was working on right below that on a cart.... Rolling Eyes

BG808 with color-filtered tubes, HTPC through an HDFury (port 3). I have a dedicated HT with dark walls and an 2m35 wide screen (guess that's about 96"). I hope to upgrade to a 1209s within a few years...
